The Porter-Cable 424MAG inch circular saw features a blade-left design and an electric brake. It is the improved version of 423MAG with brake. With a quick reference 45-degree edge for marking material built-in to the magnesium base, this saws construction provides durability and lighter overall weight.

Strong 15 saw with blade on left. This saw comes with an 24-tooth carbide-tipped doable blade and case. Other features include an integrated dust exhaust port with 205-degree rotation, a 1-inch outer diameter for easy vacuum attachment, and 0-to-50 degree miter capacity positive stop at 45 degrees added versatility. Has the quick change blade system.

I bought it new and only used on jobs to rip plywood when no table saw was available. Buyer will not be disappointed. The saw has a few scuffs, and some kind of liquid spilled on top guard that will not come off. Cord has no cuts, and plug shows little use.

With a 5 8-inch arbor size, this saw measures x 10 inches and weighs pounds. This is a sought after Porter-Cable 424MAG with electric brake. Mechanically the saw is everything tight and works perfectly, including brake. Its 15 motor operates at 5,800 rpm for aggressive cuts, and quick-change joyless blade change feature offers tool-free changes in seconds.
